This position will serve as both an Attorney and Project Manager for an upcoming building code project for the State of Indiana.
The attorney will serve as a manager for a large administrative rulemaking project, working to revise and adopt several fire and building safety codes for use in Indiana. The project manager will provide guidance on substantive legal matters related to rulemaking issues, review and revise required documentation at all stages of the rulemaking process, and monitor ongoing trends and guidance as it relates to rulemaking processes and procedures. An ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Indiana Administrative Rules and Procedures statutes and the rule promulgation process. Prior experience with fire/building codes preferred.

•Doctorate of Jurisprudence
•Indiana Bar Admission license in good standing
•Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills
•Effectively communicate both orally and in writing
•Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply relevant statutes, case law, and rules.
