Job Summary
The Test / QA Lead is
responsible for defining, managing, and executing the quality assurance
strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
This role leads testing efforts across the software development lifecycle,
coordinates QA resources, establishes testing standards, and works closely with
development, product, and business stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure
system readiness. Familiarity with
establishing a new software testing program which includes standards, templates,
procedures, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
– Define
and own the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases
– Lead
test planning, execution, and reporting for functional, integration,
system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
– Develop
and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability
matrices
– Coordinate
QA activities across internal teams and third-party vendors
– Ensure
alignment between requirements, test coverage, and acceptance criteria
– Manage
defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
– Establish
QA standards, best practices, and test governance processes
– Oversee
test environments, test data preparation, and release readiness
assessments
– Provide
risk-based testing recommendations and go/no-go input for releases
Required
Qualifications
– 5+
years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
– 3+
years of experience in a QA Lead, or Test Lead
– Strong
understanding of SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies
– Hands-on
experience with test management and defect tracking tools
– Experience
in automated testing frameworks and tools
– Experience
leading UAT and working with business stakeholders
– Experience
in clinical healthcare environments
