Max Bill Rate: $66.15

-4 years of experience in GIS, cartography, CADD, or a related field.
-4 years of experience developing user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands in addition to performing complex spatial analyses and producing reports according to customer specifications.
-4 years of experience assisting in the development of GIS that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information.
-4 years of Advanced skills in SQL with writing database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages as well as maintain spatial databases and document procedures, validate data, update and mantain metadata for new and existing items
-4 years of Advanced skills in unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and automated testing to ensure product quality meet client expectation
-2 years of Experience in C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Transact SQL(T-SQL), Typescript, Experience in Power Apps

The candidate will serve as a GIS Analyst supporting multiple highly complex applications primarily for the Department of Environment, Great Lake, and Energy (EGLE) They will collaborate with the development providing advice and guidance, as needed, to development staff while working closely with Project Managers to ensure project quality, milestones, and deadlines are met. They will develop solutions and streamline spatial data needs through the maintenance and modification of existing web, client server, or mobile applications. Additional application development support to address needs of the DNR, EGLE, and MDARD Application Development section may be assigned as needed.
They must adhere to the standards set forth by the Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB), and the Client. Develop or approve plans for testing and implementation of web-based, client/server, mobile or data system applications. Evaluate the impact of new technology, recommend solutions to persistent problems, and serve as Customer Service liaison to the client and external consultants. Keep current with changing IT technologies through continuous learning. Support applications that exist on a wide variety of platforms including, but not limited to, PC-based, Web-based, and Mobile. Legacy application development and maintenance may require knowledge of other platforms.
