The State of Michigan is looking for: Software Solutions Architect
Max Bill Rate: $94.90

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
• 5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code, branching strategies, automated code reviews, and testing aligned with organizational goals
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• 2-3 Salesforce certifications required
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and web services development
Preferred:
• Salesforce Architect certification
• Experience working on enterprise-level implementations
• Database-related certifications

– Interview Process: Virtual and in-person. 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. This will be followed by an in-person interview for the 2nd round

-Duration: 6-months, with the intent to hire the contractor into a full-time position with SOMI within 6-months to a year. At the time of hire, the candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship from the State of Michigan

– Hybrid Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable): There is no remote-only option
Required onsite days- Wednesdays and Thursdays
Remote eligible days- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
The resource must meet these requirements from the beginning
